What’s involved
We help you choose and set up a suitable internet-based phone system for your office. We connect desk phones or calling apps on supported computers and mobiles, set up staff extensions, voicemail, call transfers, and a main business number with the call menu or queue you need. We work with your chosen phone provider on connections and any number transfer, and check that your internet and office network can support the calls. Where suitable, keep office phone traffic separate from everyday computer traffic and give calls priority when the connection is busy. We test everyday calling, explain how to use the system, and agree any ongoing help you need.
What you receive
A working phone setup, staff extensions, agreed call-handling settings, call test results, and simple user and administrator instructions. We explain equipment, phone provider charges, subscriptions, and support arrangements before you proceed.
When it helps
When opening an office, replacing an old phone system, adding staff, answering calls from several locations, or fixing unreliable business calls.
Planning your business service
Business solutions should be understandable, manageable, and appropriate to the size of your team. We focus on the services your staff depend on, the problems affecting their work, and improvements that fit your budget.
- Share examples of the problem, affected users, application names, and busy periods.
- Confirm responsibility for subscriptions, calling services, conferencing equipment, and internet provision.
Agreeing the scope and handover
Work can be arranged as a focused review, an implementation project, troubleshooting, or agreed ongoing support. Hardware, subscriptions, provider services, and any site attendance are confirmed separately in the scope.
IN PRACTICE
A real-world example
Set up a small office with one main number, a short welcome menu, and extensions for its staff. Let reception transfer calls, send unanswered calls to voicemail, and allow approved staff to answer through a calling app when working away from the office.
